Fire Department
The Saratoga Volunteer Fire Department has a volunteer force of approximately 32 dedicated individuals that respond to residential fires in Saratoga and the surrounding area as well as wild fires and forest fires.
The volunteers also respond to motor vehicle accidents to assist EMS personnel with extrication.
Many of the firemen are also members of Carbon County's search and rescue team that responds to mountain rescue for victims of snowmobile accidents, hiking and fishing accidents or individuals lost and stranded in the wilderness.
