South Central Wyoming Emergency Medical Services

SCWEMS

The ambulance service, through SCWEMS, provides emergency medical care and transport for patients throughout the Upper Platte River Valley from the Colorado State line to Interstate 80 in south central Carbon County under the direction Dr. Duane Ables. The ambulance service, includes volunteer emergency medical personnel from Saratoga, Riverside, Encampment, Hanna, Medicine Bow, Elk Mountain, and the county.

7 Member Board / 3 Year Terms / One appointment made by the Board of Carbon County Commissioners; one appointment made by the Towns of:

  • Elk Mountain
  • Encampment
  • Hanna
  • Medicine Bow
  • Riverside
  • Saratoga
