Veterans Island Park
The Veterans Island Park is located south off Pick Pike Road on the way to the Saratoga Inn, within easy access of downtown Saratoga.
The Island Park is ideal for:
- Birthday parties
- Barbecues
- Reunions, or quiet retreats

The park includes:
- A picnic area with a large covered fire pit
- A skate park
- Volleyball nets
- A children's playground
- Horseshoe pits and a tennis court.
Historic Stone House
The Town of Saratoga recently received the 2004 Architectural Award from the Saratoga Historical and Cultural Association for restoration of the stone house on Veterans Island.
The historic structure was built in 1953 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, and was originally used as a toilet facility.
Although the site is no longer utilized as such, the restoration project has preserved a wonderful touch of history for this area.
